St. Louis Radio: Danny Montana Adds PD Duties At WIL-FM

Hubbard Radio/St. Louis announces that APD/Music Director Danny Montana has been promoted to Brand Content Director (Program Director) of New Country WIL 92.3 in St. Louis.

Danny Montana has spent more than 20 years with New Country 92.3 as an on-air Talent, Music Director and Assistant Program Director. In this new role, Montana will continue reporting to Scott Roddy, who will become the overall Brand Content Director for both New Country 92.3 & 106.5 The Arch.

According to Danny Montana, “I am so grateful and humbled by this opportunity to continue to grow and work with the absolute best team and station in the business.  It is truly an honor to work at Hubbard Radio!” Danny continues, “I appreciate all the support from Market VP John Kijowski, Brand Content Director Scott Roddy and (title) Greg Strassell.”   

Scott Roddy comments, “For the past three years I’ve had the honor of working with the greatest team in the country format. I witnessed this group earn TWO CMA Awards, an ACM Award, a Marconi nomination and GREATLY widen the gap between the competition. The HEARTBEAT of New Country 92.3 has always been my consigliere, Danny Montana.”

Roddy notes, “In our time together, I have experienced Danny’s penchant for the team’s success, strategy, research, competitive rigor and industry relationships grow tenfold.” Scott adds, “I am thrilled that Danny is the brightest new programming star for the industry’s platinum standard: Hubbard Broadcasting and to now be Danny’s consigliere!”

Along with his new duties as Brand Content Director / Program Director for New Country 92.3, Montana will continue handling his role as Music Director.
