As The Jim Bohannon Show celebrates 26 years on the air, Westwood One, the largest audio network in the U.S., has announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with the show and its host, Radio Hall of Famer Jim Bohannon.
The Jim Bohannon Show, which airs on more than 250 affiliated stations, is a unique mix of topical issues, newsmakers, and pop culture which informs and entertains a loyal audience. In addition to his weekday broadcast, Bohannon will continue his signature daily feature, “The Offbeat,” a humorous look at something just a bit off the beaten track, and anchor events for Westwood One News.

Bohannon, who calls himself a "militant moderate" and "voice of reason" among the clutter of daily talk, is a recipient of numerous industry awards and honors, including the RTDNA First Amendment Award.
Bohannon has been a member of TALKERS magazine's Heavy Hundred every year since its inception in 1995 and received the TALKERS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. He was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2003. This past summer, he won his second prestigious Gold Medal Award from the New York International Radio Festival for the Westwood One News retrospective Pain & Pride: Remembering Vietnam – 50 Years Later.
