Jax Radio: WFXJ Rebrands As 930 The Game


iHeartMedia/Jacksonville has announced the debut of the new WFXJ 930 The Game, Jacksonville’s Sports Leader.

930 The Game will serve as the home for Florida Gator football, basketball and baseball. The station will also broadcast NFL games, NFL post-season games, Superbowl LIII, the SEC basketball tournament, NCAA tournament and the College World Series. Additionally, current Orlando Sentinel columnist and former Florida Times-Union sports columnist Mike Bianchi will host Open Mike with Mike Bianchi, broadcasting weekday mornings from 6 to 9 a.m.

“I loved my years as a sports columnist at the Florida Times-Union and can’t wait to start talking sports again with Jacksonville Fans,” said Bianchi. “I’m announcing right now that I’m driving the Jagwagon all the way to Atlanta for Superbowl LIII.”

“Mike is a fantastic addition to our daily line-up,” said Seth Harp, Program Director for 930 The Game. “His show focuses on the topics and stories the people of northeast Florida want to hear. The people of Jacksonville deserve a great morning drive show and Mike will deliver that tenfold.”
