Jim Battagliese Named TTWN/NY Regional Dir./Ops

Total Traffic & Weather Network (TTWN), has announced that 30-year broadcasting and traffic veteran Jim Battagliese has been named as Regional Director of Operations for the New York market.

Battagliese joins TTWN from Hubbard Radio's WTOP/Washington, DC where he served as Director of Traffic and Weather Operations, since 2010. Prior to WTOP, he managed the Traffic Center for XM Satellite Radio prior to its merger with Sirius. He's also held senior leadership posts at both Traffic.com and Shadow Broadcast Services serving as VP/Operations.

"More Americans get their traffic information from TTWN than any other source, and continuing to provide our affiliates with industry-leading content and service is our number one priority," said Kevin Loftus, Senior Vice President of Operations for TTWN.

"Jim has an extensive background in traffic reporting operations. His leadership in TTWN's New York regional market will have a tremendous impact on our ability to maximize results for our affiliates."

In his new role, Battagliese will drive all aspects of content development and traffic operations for the regions more than 125 broadcast radio and television affiliates, including the New York City, Nassau/Long Island (NY), Hartford/New Haven (CT), Hudson Valley (NY) and Northern New Jersey media markets.
