British, Brooklyn Royalty Meet On The Hardwoods

Kingdoms united at the Barclays Center on Monday night when British and Brooklyn royalty met on the hardwood, according to The NY Daily News.

With typical pomp and circumstance — and a live television audience watching — Brooklyn’s royals, Jay Z and Beyoncé, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held court courtside at the Nets-Cavaliers game, capping a whirlwind day for Britain’s royal couple.

Prince William and Kate Middleton took their seats next to the home team’s bench midway through the third quarter. The capacity crowd stood up, but the Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers kept right on playing.

During the stoppage between the third and fourth quarters, Jay and Bey crossed the hardwood to introduce themselves to Wills and Kate. They chatted for about three minutes.
