Longtime Lawrenceville, Ill radio legend passed away Monday at a hospital in Evansville.

He was 58 according to wthitv.com.

Kent Lankford was the general manager of WAKO 910 AM / 103.1 FM.

“Oh he was Lawrenceville radio … he grew up in it … he knew that this was the radio and he wanted it .. we’re not only going to miss him, we’re going to miss his production and the things that he does here at the radio station,” said Stuart Lankford, Kent’s father and owner, WAKO.
