Adams resigned last month from CBS Radio/Houston, where he was VP/Programming for the past six years. He also has previous duty in Portland, where he was PD rhythmic’ “Jammin’ 95.5” KXJM and news/talk KXL.
Adams said, "I would like to thank Clear Channel Portland for this opportunity. I'm looking forward to working with all of the incredible brands and teams in the market and contributing to their future success. Portland is one of my favorite cities in the country and it's exciting to have the chance to return and do some great radio."
Market President Robert Dove said, "We are thrilled to have Mark return to Portland and join our team. Mark has a proven track record and I know he will lead the cluster to even greater ratings success."
