Salem recently purchased the station from Maryland-based
Radio One and is currently operating WJKR via an LMA. The price was not disclosed.
Salem Communications has headquarters in California and owns
or operates about 100 stations that play Christian and conservative-opinion
content, including WRFD (880 AM) also in Columbus..
