iHM's Classic Rock
KGB 101.5 FM has announced former NFL player Nick Hardwick will begin his broadcast career as co-host of the afternoon drive with Clint August. The show will air live every weekday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. starting Monday, February 9, 2015.
The 33-year-old Hardwick announced his retirement from professional football after an 11-year career playing center for the San Diego Chargers. About his decision to trade his helmet for headphones, Nick said “I’m so very excited to be joining 101.5 KGB cranking out classic rock! Laughing with Clint August and our afternoon drive listeners will be the most fun I could have at work next to putting on pads and playing football!”
