Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was the #1 Sunday public affairs show for both A25-54 and A18-49 demo viewers in January according to Nielsen.
In January, Meet the Press averaged 487,000 A25-54 key demo viewers, leading ABC by +56,000 (+13%) and CBS by +38,000 (+8%). In addition, Meet the Press averaged 319,000 A18-49 demo viewers, leading ABC by +24,000 (+8%) and CBS by +10,000 (+3%). Meet the Press increased its viewership across-the-board in January vs. prior month, reaching its largest A25-54 viewership in five months, its largest A18-49 viewership in ten months, and its largest total viewership in fifty-eight months.
For the Sunday, January 25th show, Meet the Press averaged 605,000 A25-54 key demo viewers, leading ABC by +103,000 (+20%) and CBS by +83,000 (+16%). This marks Meet the Press’s largest key demo delivery since December 8, 2024, a interview with President Trump, and largest increase in key demo viewership vs. prior week and year among Sunday Affairs programs.
In addition, Meet the Press averaged 422,000 A18-49 demo viewers, leading ABC by +71,000 (+20%) and CBS by +61,000 (+17%), and delivering its largest A18-49 demo numbers since January, 14, 2024. Meet the Press also averaged 3.147 million total viewers, the most viewers the program has reached since the December 8, 2024 broadcast.
Meet the Press was the #1 Sunday public affairs show among key A25-54 demo viewers for the 2024-25 broadcast season and continues to rank #1 in A25-54 demo viewers season-to-date. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
