Conservatives live in a “completely different information world” than liberals, CNN host Abby Phillip told former MSNBC host Joy Reid on Reid’s podcast Tuesday.
Phillip said she spends “half my job” studying conservative conspiracy theories to counter them on air, noting that many conservatives encounter “the truth” for the first time during her interviews due to extreme information silos.
Reid, who has promoted unverified claims herself, agreed with Phillip’s assessment of polarized media ecosystems.
