Connoisseur Media Unveils Leadership Appointments

Connoisseur Media has unveiled key leadership changes across its Connecticut and Long Island markets. 

Ed Oliveira

Ed Oliveira has been promoted to Operations Manager, Connecticut, after over a decade with the company. Previously, he served as Director of Traffic & Creative Services and led the Ferocious Content division. Oliveira’s career began in Richmond, VA, at Cox Media, followed by co-hosting and producing The Sandbox morning show on WFNX Boston in 2007. He joined Connoisseur in Connecticut in 2011 as a producer, on-air talent, and production director.

“I’m grateful for this opportunity and excited to take on this expanded role,” Oliveira said. “It feels like a natural step, and I thank Kristin Okesson for her belief in me. Keith Dakin has been a constant in my career, and I’m proud to build on his work with this incredible team.”

Meghan Boyd

Meghan Boyd, who has managed digital and design for Connoisseur’s Connecticut stations since 2011, will now also oversee the Long Island portfolio as Director of Digital & Design. “I’m thrilled to join the Long Island team and take on this role as our Connecticut and Long Island markets collaborate,” Boyd said.

Robby Bridges returns to Connoisseur as Program Director and midday host for Country WWWF (103.1 The Wolf) in Long Island and Program Director for AC WEBE 108 in Bridgeport, CT.

Bridges previously programmed WEBE 108 and worked at Country stations like WCTK, WFMS, WOKQ, WPKQ, WLXV, and WDRQ. Most recently, he was Vice President of Programming and PD at 107.1/99.7 The Boss in New Jersey.  He starts September 22.

“I’m thrilled to join Connoisseur during this exciting time,” Bridges said. “I look forward to working with Patrick Shea to grow 103.1 The Wolf into one of America’s top Country stations and to guide the iconic WEBE 108 in Connecticut.”
