Fox Nation, the streaming service of Fox News Media, is launching a three-episode game show titled Greg Gutfeld’s What Did I Miss?, hosted by Greg Gutfeld, a prominent Fox News personality known for his late-night show Gutfeld! and co-hosting The Five.
The show, set to premiere on May 12, 2025, with subsequent episodes airing on May 13 and 14, features a unique premise: four contestants, who were placed in complete isolation in upstate New York starting January 20, 2025 (the day of President Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th U.S. President), will compete to guess what happened during Trump’s first 90 days in office.
Key Details of the Game Show Premise: The contestants, isolated without access to phones, internet, television, or social media for nearly three months (January 20 to April 13, 2025), will be presented with a mix of real and fake headlines about events during Trump’s initial 90 days. Their challenge is to distinguish factual events from fabricated scenarios created by the production team.
A $50,000 grand prize is at stake.
Host and Panelists: Greg Gutfeld, known for his sardonic humor, will guide the contestants through the game, with Gutfeld! regulars Kat Timpf and Jamie Lissow serving as panelists. The show will be filmed in front of a live studio audience.
Context: The show capitalizes on the intense media coverage and significant policy moves during Trump’s second term, such as tariff announcements that triggered global market sell-offs and trade tensions. Events like these, described as “unprecedented,” are expected to create surprising and engaging moments as contestants react to the news they missed.
Fox Nation president Lauren Petterson emphasized Gutfeld’s suitability for the role, stating, “Truth can be stranger than fiction, and who better to help isolated Americans catch up on the headlines they missed during an unprecedented news cycle than Greg Gutfeld.”
Gutfeld himself quipped, “For these four contestants to learn what really happened while they were living in isolation, they’ll have to get through me first. Lucky them.”
