Riverside CA Radio: David Bugenske Exits Country K-FROG

David Bugenske, the country radio on-air personality who co-hosted Mornings at Audacy Country on K-FROG 95.1, has left the station.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Bugenske stated his resignation with amicable words to his colleagues at the Inland Empire-based station and thanked the parent company.

David Bugenske
“I have resigned from @kfrogradio. I don’t even think this warrants a post, other than to make sure that the wonderful people there know how much I appreciate them. I love all of you. Kelli, you were perfect. I’m so thankful for you. I hope this company appreciates you more.”

Bugenske joined the KFRG to team with Kelli “Green” Barajas in September 2019 and previously worked as morning show producer/co-host for Mount Wilson FM Broadcasters Go Country 105 KKGO Los Angeles from 2015-2019. His production roles include time at Salem Media Los Angeles, Premiere Networks, and Westwood One’s “The Dennis Miller Show.” The Florida Native also spent six years at iHeartMedia's News/Talk 540 WFLF and CHR 106.7 WXXL Orlando.

Audacy is now seeking applicants for his successor.

Back in September 2020, when Entercom Communications owned the station, K-FROG underwent a huge shakeup as there were several shifts in talent, including the loss of longtime DJ Ginny Harman.
