Democratic Senate hopeful John Fetterman defeated Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania, wrapping up one of the most closely watched races of the midterms just before 1 a.m. Wednesday morning. 'We launched this campaign almost two years ago - and we had our slogan - and it's on every one of those signs right now: every count, every vote,' Fetterman said to a rowdy crowd still gathered at Stage AE in Pittsburgh. 'And that's exactly what happened - we jammed them up. We held the line.' 'I never expected that we would turn these red counties blue, but we did what we needed to do,' he continued. 'And that's why tonight I'll be the next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania,' Fetterman added. NBC News, Fox News and CNN all called the race for the Democrat, after Fetterman led the count all night. The Associated Press has yet to call the race. Fetterman's crowd exploded in cheers as the lieutenant governor's win was predicted by the networks.

- For the first time, a member of Generation Z will have representation in Congress. Democrat Maxwell Alejandro Frost, an activist born in 1997, won an Orlando-area district previously held by Representative Val Demings. - Georgia’s U.S. Senate race was too close to call late Tuesday night as U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock and his Republican challenger, Herschel Walker, were locked in an excruciatingly tight race that could help determine the balance of power in Washington.
- Republican Governor Brian Kemp won re-election in Georgia, defeating Democrat Stacey Abrams, ABC and NBC said.
- California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom won re-election, the Associated Press said.
- Republican venture capitalist JD Vance defeated Democratic Representative Tim Ryan in an unexpectedly competitive Ohio US Senate contest, preventing what would have been a stunning blow to the GOP’s efforts to win control of the chamber.
Democrats held on to a series of bellweather House races on Tuesday night, delaying a Republican victory party, as several key Senate races remain too close to call. Talk of a Republican red wave was chilled as Democrats hung on to competitive contests in Virginia, Rhode Island and New Jersey. 'Definitely not a Republican wave, that’s for darn sure,' GOP Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina told NBC News. Republicans did pickup three House seats thus far. The GOP only a net gain of five House seats to win the majority, which remains within their grasp. Many competitive districts have yet to be called. Meanwhile, Republican candidate J.D. Vance, who was endorsed by Donald Trump, won Ohio's Senate seat against Democrat Tim Ryan. His victory kept the Senate in the GOP column.

➤DISABLED OR NOT, APPLE IS TRACKING YOU AGAINST YOUR SAY SO, NEW RESEARCH SAYS: Apple always stood for privacy as a “human right” while the company has never liked the idea of having advertisements on its platforms. However, Tommy Mysk and Talal Haj Bakry, two app developers and security researchers took a look at the data collected by a number of Apple iPhone apps. The recent changes that Apple has made to App Store ads should raise many #privacy concerns. It seems that the #AppStore app on iOS 14.6 sends every tap you make in the app to Apple.👇This data is sent in one request: (data usage & personalized ads are off)#CyberSecurity pic.twitter.com/1pYqdagi4e

➤NICOLE EXPECTED TO BECOME CAT 1 HURRICANE: Nicole has transitioned to a tropical storm in the southwestern Atlantic Ocean and is now strengthening ahead of the significant rain, wind and coastal flooding impacts that will begin spreading across Florida and the southeastern U.S. by Wednesday. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a state of emergency for 34 counties as Nicole is forecast to make landfall as a Category 1 hurricane along the state's east coast Wednesday night or early Thursday. Nicole is a very large storm, so regardless of its strength as it approaches Florida and the southeastern U.S., the threat of heavy rain and flooding will extend all the way to the mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Friday and Saturday.
