Air personality Allan Lamberti takes over afternoons on at Connoisseu Media WEBE-FM Bridgeport, CT, after Jay Michaels announced he would step down effective this week. A veteran radio personality, Michaels hosted morning and afternoons at various points for the last few years on the AC outlet. Lamberti, currently hosting mornings on sister Rock Alernative WFOX-FM, will host afternoons for WEBE. With Lamberti's departure from WFOX, Charlie Padgett will take over mornings.
"I grew up in Trumbull, live in Bridgeport, and have long listened and admired WEBE108," commented Lamberti. "I'm extremely excited to take over in my new role on afternoons on such a legendary signal."
"Charlie and I have worked together at a number of different stations over the years," said Connoisseur Media Vice President of Programming Keith Dakin. "Charlie has a great sound for this format, and he will be a perfect fit on 95.9 The FOX."
"I'm excited to return to the airwaves, especially at a great company like Connoisseur Media," saind Padgett. "I'm looking forward to once again arguing the merits of late ‘90s U2 with Keith Dakin and (WFOX PD) Kevin Begley. Strap in, Fairfield County."
