Philly Radio: WPHT To Air Penn State Sports


Entercom today announced a new multiyear, multiplatform agreement with Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics and its exclusive multimedia rights holder, Learfield IMG College’s Penn State Sports Properties.

As part of the agreement, Talk Radio WPHT 1210 AM in Philadelphia will be the new radio home for Penn State football and men’s basketball games and RADIO.COM will feature ancillary on-demand programming.

Beginning with the 2019-20 athletic season, Talk Radio 1210 WPHT will air live all Penn State football and men’s basketball games. Additionally, RADIO.COM will feature on demand the weekly Penn State football and men’s basketball coaches shows and the daily show “Inside Penn State Athletics.”

Sister stations KYW Newsradio (KYW-AM), B101.1 (WBEB-FM), SportsRadio 94WIP (WIP-FM), 98.1 WOGL (WOGL-FM) and 96.5 TDY (WTDY-FM) will provide promotional support for Penn State Athletics.

A 50,000-watt station based in Philadelphia, Talk Radio 1210 WPHT can be heard from New York City to Washington D.C.
