Rick Thomas
Max Media Denver has announced Rick Thomas as VP of Programming and Operations overseeing all programming, engineering, digital and promotional departments at KJHM JAMMIN’ 101.5 and KFCO FLO 107.1.

Rick’s 30+ years of industry experience speaks for itself with a proven track record of success in radio programming, leadership management and building winning teams, which will be instrumental in taking the two Max radio station brands to the next level in Denver.

Most recently, Thomas worked as Operations Manager for Cox Media in Tampa. He has also programmed some of the most recognized stations in the country, including K-EARTH and The Wave in Los Angeles, Magic 92.5 in San Diego as well as launching AMP 92.3 in New York City. Rick is widely credited with pioneering the Rhythmic AC format and is one of the most successful Rhythmic CHR programmers in the country.

“We are ecstatic to welcome Rick and his wonderful family to the Mile-High City. He is no doubt one of the best programming minds in the country. Having Rick join our team feels like Christmas morning,” said Jeff Norman, President/General Manager at Max Media.

“Rick leads by example and makes everyone around him better. His ability to win in competitive environments will drive our radio stations to the next level of success.”

“Throughout my career I’ve always had a fascination for helping the underdogs achieve a more dominate role in the marketplace. Jeff Norman and I have known each other since our days in Los Angeles and the time is right to partner on growing these brands together in Denver, said Thomas.”

Thomas was introduced to his new team Tuesday and will be in the building fulltime no later than Monday, September 16th. He will be taking the reins remotely immediately.
