ACM Awards: Backstage with Westwood One

Westwood One Backstage at the ACM Awards, held Friday, April 5 and Saturday April 6 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The event featured a two-day radio row, where more than 90 Country stars and hot new artists came through do radio interviews with 25 top Country radio stations and national shows and mingle with each other.

The event kicked off with a press conference with Reba McEntire, who is hosting the ACM Awards on Sunday. She was interviewed by  Westwood One’s NASH Nights Live host Shawn Parr; the presser also featured a surprise appearance by Jason Aldean, who received the “Dick Clark Artist of the Decade” Award on Sunday.

Westwood One’s Backstage event included exclusive live performances from UMG Nashville’s Lauren Alaina, Big Machine’s Riley Green, Curb Record’s Dylan Scott, and Riser House Records’ Dillon Carmichael.
