Sun Broadcast Group Names Rich O'Brien VP/Programming

Sun Broadcast Group has appointed Rich O’Brien as Vice President of Programing and Affiliate Relations.

O’Brien comes to SBG with over 25 years of experience in national radio syndication, having worked as a VP/Radio Programs for Superadio Network, where he co-created, launched and affiliated “Saturday Night Online Live with Romeo” on over 170 stations, affiliated and managed talent for “Sunday Nite Slow Jams,” “Baka Boys Hip Hop Master Mix,” “A-Town Sound Imaging,” “Weekend Throwdown with Jagger,” “Supermixx,” “The Steve & DC Show,” “The Ace & TJ Show,” “Retro Pop Reunion,” “Rise Up with John Ritter” and “Party Playhouse.”

Rich was also an on-air Producer for “Open House Party,” a syndicated radio show, and Music Director of City FM, Superhit Country 24-hour formats.

“I am so excited about this new opportunity to work with SBG’s 5,500+ affiliates across the country and take our programing and affiliate relations to a whole new level. With our new partnership and an entire new lineup, I have no doubt that 2019 will be our most successful year yet,” commented O’Brien.
