DWTS: Bobby Bones Gets To Dance Another Week

Bobby Bones said he didn’t get the scores he wanted on "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday night — but were they high enough for him to dance another week?

The answer is yes.

Blind dancer Danelle Umstead and professional partner Artem Chigvintsev were sent home on the second week of season 27 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” reports The Tennessean.

Week two was another controversial one for Bones and his professional dance partner Sharna Burgess. The couple earned a 20 out of 30 for their foxtrot Monday night, but Bones set the internet ablaze when he deviated from Burgess’s final choreographed dance move and did popular a dance move known as "the floss."

Following the show, Burgess admitted to ET that she was mad at Bones, and Bones said she had a right to be. Viewers skewered Bones for being disrespectful to Burgess — possibly enough to keep the country radio personality in line Tuesday night when there didn’t appear to be any unplanned steps.

A friend of Bones and country Walker Hayes was in the audience to watch him perform, as was Bones’ partner in The Raging Idiots, Producer Eddie.

While his friends were impressed with Bones' moves, the judges were less so. Carrie Ann Inaba told him to “tone it down a notch” so the judges could see more form. Len Goodman said Bones’ quickstep was a bit of Siegfried and Roy and plenty of entertainment. Bruno Tonioli commented that Bones pushed and pulled Burgess too much.
