Newsradio WFLA 970 AM announced today the debut of the new “PM Tampa Bay Show” hosted by Ryan Gorman, effective Monday March 5. “PM Tampa Bay” will broadcast weekdays from 6-9 p.m. (apparently forcing out the syndicated Todd Schnitt Show, but it will continue to air live 3-6p on sister-WHNZ).  Schnitt recently vacated his morning show co-host gig at sister-station WOR 710 AM NYC).

The live and local program will cover the day’s biggest news stories and hot topics impacting the Tampa Bay area. As a politically independent millennial, Ryan will bring a unique and fresh perspective to the airwaves, appealing to fans of all ages and all across the entire political spectrum. Ryan will also continue to host “The Best of the Bay” program which airs each weekend across all iHeartMedia Tampa Bay radio stations.

“I’m looking forward to providing a platform that will help inform, educate and entertain listeners in a balanced way during their drive home,” said Ryan Gorman, on-air personality for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay. “It is an honor to be able to launch a new show in my hometown of Tampa, Florida!”
