NC Radio: Curtis Flips WGBR To Classic Hits

Curtis Media Group has announced a formet change for WGBR 1150 AM and W252CL 98.3 FM. The simulcast has dropped a Talk Format for Greates Hits.

General Manager David Perkins said, “We are excited to bring classic hits to Goldsboro and especially excited to be able to continue providing results for our local advertisers in Goldsboro and Wayne County.”

Jeff Farrow will continue to host the morning show but we welcome the addition of Averil Williams hosting middays and Wayne Carlyle hosting afternoon drive.

Operations Director Joel Gillie said, “The move to classic hits in Goldsboro will help us ultimately reach more people. Great music and local talent will allow us to continue to make a lasting connection with our listeners.”
