L-A Radio: Woman Fat-Shamed By Dani Mathers Speaks Out

The elderly woman who was fat-shamed by Former Playboy model and former member of the KLOS 95.5 FM Morning Show Dani Mathers at a gym in Los Angeles says she was “humiliated” by the privacy-robbing ordeal, which she now just wants to put behind her.

In her first public comments since the July incident, the 70-year-old victim whose physique didn’t impress 30-year-old Dani Mathers is breaking her silence through Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer, who spoke with her at length but promised to keep her identity a secret in an extensive interview with the Los Angeles Times.

Feuer said the woman was ready to go to trial, but was “relieved” that wasn’t necessary. Mathers pleaded no contest last month to misdemeanor invasion of privacy and was sentenced to spend 30 days cleaning graffiti on city streets for snapping a picture of the naked woman at an LA Fitness gyn in July and posting it to Snapchat with the caption: “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.”

“She wishes the whole chapter, this painful chapter, would close — the impact of the photograph being taken and disseminated and what that’s meant to her as well as what it’s meant to hear that Ms. Mathers be held accountable for what she did,” Feuer said.

According to the NY Post, the woman had sought restitution of about $60 as the outcome of the case was nearing, Feuer said, because she had to buy a new backpack since the one depicted in the photo could identify her to other fellow gym-goers.
