Country artist Scotty McCreery kicked off a long list of celebs who will be filling in for Tanner in the Morning on
WSOC 103.7 FM in Charlotte.
Tanner will be recuperating for a few weeks from the latest..and hopefilly last..surgery in his fight with cancer.
John Rich, one half of Big and Rich, fills-in Tuesday, followed by 2013’s ACM Top New Female Artist and former actress from “One Tree Hill” Jana Kramer on Wednesday April 16th.

Program director DJ Stout comments, “Tanner is undergoing what will hopefully be his last surgery in his victorious fight against cancer. When I found out he would be out for a couple of weeks I thought that it would be really cool to reach out to some of our good friends and see if they would join the rest of our morning crew and fill in for Tanner. I couldn’t believe how quickly they responded and how they jumped at the opportunity to help out. I think this is going to be a great three weeks for our listeners and we can’t thank the artists enough. Tanner’s battle against cancer has been hard on all of us and we are thrilled that he is expected back in a few weeks.”
