Brooke Burker-Charvet |
There is going to be one less star on Dancing With the Stars next season. ABC has confirmed that Brooke Burke-Charvet will no longer be a part of the show going forward after four years as co-host with Tom Bergeron.
Brooke responded to the news in a statement saying, "I have enjoyed seven seasons co-hosting 'DWTS' but understand the need for change considering the position of the show at this juncture. I've always been one to embrace change and looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn't able to entertain because of contractual obligations to the show. I've seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom but this one takes the cake."

The show's executive producer, Conrad Green, told Gossip Cop, "We can confirm that Brooke Burke-Charvet will not be joining us next season. She's been a wonderful part of the 'Dancing with the Stars' family since her triumphant win in season seven and will unquestionably be missed by our entire team. We'd like to thank Brooke for her years of great service."
- Season 10 competitor, Erin Andrews of FOX Sports, will be Burke's replacement.
- Brooke was the winner of the show's seventh season.
- The show has made other cutbacks for the upcoming season including replacing The Harold Wheeler Band which has been performing on the show since the first season.
The 18th season of Dancing With the Stars premieres on March 17th.
