Obama Impersonator Gets The Hook at GOP Event

GOP leaders booted a Barack Obama impersonator off the stage at the Republican Leadership Conference after the funnyman took one too many potshots at the party's presidential hopefuls.

According to a story by Philip Caulfield at nydailynews.com, ompersonator Reggie Brown had his mic cut off and was escorted off the stage after he slammed Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty and Michelle Bachman during his routine at the GOP event in New Orleans on Saturday.

Brown, who was hired by the Louisiana Republican Party to perform his spot-on impression of the President, skewered Gingrich's imploding campaign, saying that his consultants were "dropping faster than Anthony Weiner's pants in an AOL chatroom."

But the laughter soon turned to boos after the Comedian-in-Chief mocked Mitt Romney as a Mormon polygamist and said Tim Pawlenty couldn't be there because he was "having his foot surgically removed from his mouth."

"Don't worry: it's covered under Obamneycare. Along with spinal transplants," Brown said, referring to T-Paw's pussy-footed performance at a Republican debate in New Hampshire last week.

The faux O was midway through a joke about Tea Party favorite Michelle Bachman when organizers struck up the music and a GOP official took the stage and gave him the hook.
