Ghostbusters star Dan Aykroyd has been in Australia promoting his new line of
vodka but one of his talk show appearances ended with him cursing out the host.
According to Web Pro News, Dan was chatting with host Ellen
Fanning on SBS talk show The Observer Effect when she refused to allow him to
plug his Crystal Head vodka.
Things were reportedly running smoothly when the 61-year-old
was chatting about his childhood and career but things escalated when Fanning
would not discuss the booze.
Aykroyd reportedly ripped his sunglasses off and proceeded
to mention the full line of vodka products before storming out. He was
overheard outside allegedly calling the host a "f**king hosebag."
According to The Daily Telegraph, the network requested that
Ellen and the show's producer apologize to Dan but they refused and asked that
he be the one to apologize. SBS claimed that "advertorials are not part of
the show's format."
During his tour in Australia, Aykroyd also visited the Fitzy & Wippa Show on NovaFM 96.9 in Sydney.
