President-elect Donald Trump agreed to sit down with NBC News’ Kristen Welker in an exclusive interview airing on Meet the Press on Sunday, Dec. 8. The interview will take place on Friday and marks his first network interview since winning the election.

Welker last sat down with President-elect Trump for an NBC News exclusive interview in September 2023. It generated 12 million views on YouTube and remained his only network sit-down during the 2024 campaign cycle.

MTP was #1 in the demo most valued by news advertisers, averaging 449,000 viewers in A25-54 and outperforming ABC’s This Week by +34,000 (+8%) and CBS’s Face the Nation by +85,000 (+23%).
This is the third consecutive key A24-54 demo weekly win for MTP and the sixth consecutive week in which MTP has outperformed ABC among key A25-54 demo viewers.
