iHeartMedia Colorado Springs announced today that Benny Bash has been named Assistant Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host for KCCY Y96.9, Number One for New Country, effective immediately. As Assistant Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host, Benny Bash will report to JoJo Turnbeaugh, Region Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Rockies Region.
“Benny’s love of Country music and Colorado Springs gives us this great opportunity to upgrade afternoons on Y96.9. Let the fun begin,” said JoJo Turnbaugh, Region Senior Vice President of Programming.
Benny Bash transitions to Y96.9 from 107.9 KBPI, where he most recently served as the on-air talent for the morning drive show. He also served as the local sports host for Fox Sports 1350-AM and is a graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo.
