Premiere Networks announced Thursday that BIN: Black Information Network’s national news service has been added to the newly-launched Progressive Talk KBLA 1580 AM in Los Angeles, the only Black-owned and operated talk radio station in Southern California.
Effective immediately, KBLA – which launched at midnight on Juneteenth 2021 – will feature Black Information Network News’ :60 newscasts at the top and bottom of the hour, as well as breaking news, from experienced and award-winning Black journalists, including Tanita Myers, Chris Thompson, Lauren Crawford, Rey Harris, Jelisa Chatman, Vanessa Tyler, Mike Stevens, Madelyn Woods, Julius White, Morgyn Wood, Esther Dillard, Andrea Coleman, Mike Moore, Teri McCready, Zuri Anderson, Cherranda Smith and Ryan Shepard.
Available on more than 40 stations nationwide, Black Information Network News is a product of BIN: Black Information Network – the first and only 24/7 comprehensive national audio Black News service dedicated to providing an objective, accurate and trusted source of continual news coverage with a Black voice and perspective. With the addition of KBLA, BIN: Black Information Network is now heard in every Top 10 U.S. market.
