Cumulus Media's Classics Hits WLS 94.7 FM has parted with longtime personality Danny Lake.
Lake has had an all-star radio career. Beginning his career at WCGO/WTAS in Chicago Heights/Crete, Illinois in 1978 barely out of high school. Danny later worked at WYEN and WCLR before heading to the "Big Apple" at stations like WNSR-FM (Mix 105), WPAT-AM/FM where he was the morning host, and WCBS-FM.
While at WNSR, he landed as host/producer of the nationally syndicated "Solid Gold Saturday Night" as Bob Worthington from 1988 through 1996.
