The Governor’s order is designed to promote social distancing in light of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and will last a minimum of fourteen (14) days.

Radio and television stations are considered essential businesses under the Governor’s order,

“The media will continue to operate, as well,” noted Governor Inslee during his statewide address, which was broadcast live by television and radio stations. “The media has been critical in helping us remain informed about this virus.”

Radio and television managers are encouraged to alert their employees to carry identification – driver’s license and business card (or a letter from the station’s Market/General Manager) and copies of letters (found below) from the Federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) for Access and Fuel.
