L-A Radio: Mariano Amado Joins Cali 93.9 As GSM

Meruelo Media announced Monday that highly respected veteran sales executive Mariano Amador will join the newly reformatted KLLI Cali 93.9 FM Los Angeles as General Sales Manager.

In this new role, Mariano will report to Irma Barrios, VP and General Manager of Meruelo Media, and will operate from the Meruelo studio complex in Burbank.

Speaking on Amador’s new role, Irma Barrios said, “We’re so happy to have Mariano on our team! He is the perfect person for the new Cali 93.9. He loves the music, the market, our listeners and our clients love him!” Barrios continued, “He brings amazing relationships and a well-developed market perspective to our quickly expanding Meruelo Media cluster.”

Mr. Amador’s appointment reflects Meruelo’s continued focus on transforming the sales department into a team focused on creating innovative marketing programs for clients looking to access and activate in Southern California. Amador will oversee all aspects of Meruelo’s local, regional and national sales.

Amador began his career at Univision Network New York offices and most recently served as General Sales Manager for Liberman Broadcasting in Los Angeles.
