Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed Mike Duffy as Program Director for Active Rock station WBSX 97.9X FM in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA.

Duffy said: “I’m incredibly grateful and excited for this opportunity at 97.9X. I’ve been fortunate getting to spend my entire career in my hometown radio market, but now I get to program a powerhouse rock station here as well!  I’m psyched to be working with Chris Kenney once again, as well as work with and learn from some brilliant programming minds in Mike McVay, Troy Hanson, and Jim Kurdziel.”
