Houston Radio: Michael Pettiette Promoted To VP/DOS At CBS Radio

CBS RADIO Houston Wednesday announced that Michael Pettiette has been promoted to Vice President and Director of Sales, up from Regional Director of Digital Sales, for the six-station cluster, which includes HotAC KHMX 96.5 FM, Sports KIKK 650 AM, Country KILT 100.3 FM, Sports KILT 610 AM, Top40 KKHH 95.7 FM , and Spanish KLOL 101.1 FM.

In this role, Pettiette will be responsible for multi-platform sales and revenue for the cluster.

Pettiette joined CBS RADIO Houston in 2011 as Digital Sales Manager. He created the digital strategy for the cluster and has shown consistent double-digit growth and budget attainment as well as out-performing the Houston market. In 2014, Pettiette was promoted to Regional Director of Digital Sales where he created a strategy to provide synergies across the Dallas and Houston markets.

Pettiette began his media career as a radio Account Executive at iHeartmedia. Before beginning his career at CBS RADIO Houston, he also spent time in digital sales and sales management roles at Hearst’s Houston Chronicle property. Pettiette holds a B.A. from the University of Houston and an M.B.A. from Tulane University.
