CA Radio: Armstrong&Getty Pick-up 4 More Cumulus Stations

Cumulus Media announces that it has added popular morning talk radio show, The Armstrong & Getty Show to the morning line-up on four additional Cumulus talk radio stations.

The stations are: KKAT 860 AM, Salt Lake City; KTBL 1050 AM, Albuquerque; KMJ 580 AM/ 105.9 FM, Fresno; and KVEN 1450 AM, Ventura. The Armstrong & Getty Show’s first Cumulus affiliate came with the launch of the program on San Francisco’s KGO 810 AM in April of 2016.

The Armstrong & Getty Show, hosted by red-hot morning talk radio duo Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty, airs for four lively hours each weekday. The hugely popular morning show is wildly entertaining, informative and laugh-out-loud funny, with a mixture of political commentary, observations on local, national, and international news and reflections on social issues. Armstrong and Getty’s comedic delivery, great guests, and super-charged on-air personas have made The Armstrong & Getty Show a morning addiction for talk radio listeners.

Dave Milner, Senior Vice President, Cumulus Media, said: "Armstrong and Getty’s popularity and overall growth, as well as their irreverent and entertaining style make them a perfect choice for expansion on our spoken word stations.”

Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty said, “We’re very, very excited about growing our relationship with Cumulus and bringing The Armstrong & Getty Show to these great markets. The whole Cumulus team has been extremely supportive of the show and our approach to talk radio. News, events, opinion and humor are NOT mutually exclusive! We believe it’s possible to be informed, concerned and smart and still have fun.”

The Armstrong & Getty Show, produced by iHeartMedia, now has 15 station affiliates and can be heard mornings on stations including: KEIB 1150 AM Los Angeles, KFMB 760 AM San Diego, KTTH 770 AM Seattle, KEX 1190 Portland, and KSTE 650 AM Sacramento.

Armstrong & Getty are represented by Eric Weiss of The Weiss Agency.
