Kelly Cole Departs The NAB

Kelly Cole
The top lobbyist for the National Association of Broadcasters Kelly Cole will be departing to start her own lobbying firm. Cole has been the NAB's EVP/government Relations and spent nine years at the NAB.

Cole’s last day at the NAB will be August 14.

Cole will begin with at least one big client, the NAB. With her track record, she’ll focus on representing broadcasters, but said she also plans on branching out into other industries.

“Kelly Cole has been a remarkably effective advocate for local broadcasters for the last nine years. ..We wish Kelly every success, and we are thrilled she will count NAB as an anchor client in her new firm,” said NAB president and CEO Gordon Smith.

The NAB expects to name a successor soon.
