CRB Unveils New Board of Directors

The Country Radio Broadcasters have completed their elections for the 2015-16 Board of Directors.

Charlie Morgan, Sr. VP and Market Manager for Emmis Communications/Indianapolis, has been re-elected as President of the Country Radio Broadcasters for the 2015-16 term.

Returning officers are R.J. Curtis (All Access Music Group) as Vice President, Carole Bowen (WKIS-FM) as Secretary and Jeff Walker (The AristoMedia Group) as Treasurer.

Appointed to the Board are John Crenshaw (Cumulus Media), Keith Kaufman (CenterStage Promotions), Mike Culotta and Scott Huskey (RWPC) as well as Kurt Johnson (Townsquare Media) and George Couri (Triple 8 Managerment), who are new to the board.

Re-elected tot he Board are: Chuck Aly (Country Aircheck), R.J. Curtis (All Access), John Esposito (Warner Music Nashville), Dan Halyburton (Falls Media Group), Jeff Kapugi (WUSN-FM), Jon Loba (BBR Music Group) and John Shomby (Max Media).

Board members who are continuing their term include: Carol Bowen (WKIS-FM), Beverlee Brannigan (Scripps Co.), Becky Brenner (Albright & O'Malley & Brenner Consulting), Johnny Chiang (KKBQ FM), Andy Denemark (United Stations), Mike Dungan (UMG), Clay Hunnicutt (Big Loud Records), Nick Martin (Big River Broadcasting), Mike McVay (Cumulus Media), Charlie Morgan (Emmis Communications), Gary Overton, Joel Raab (Country Radio Consultants), Tim Roberts (WYCD), Royce Risser(UMG), Annie Sandor (Curb), Jeff Walker (The AristoMedia Group) and John Zarling (Big Machine Label Group).

Charlie Morgan commented about the new Board and his re-election as President, saying “When you look just beneath the surface of all the excitement and success the CRS is enjoying as we move to our new home at the Omni Nashville in 2016, it doesn't take long to identify the key to all of that success if the quality of the people who serve as the organization's Board of Directors.  Once again, our elected and appointed directors represent the best of the best in our industry and represent radio, records, and a host of other key industry stakeholder seats.  It is a true privilege to serve with such a distinguished and dedicated group, yet alone to serve as their President for a third year.”
