SLC Radio: KUBL Morning Duo Help Homeless Man Get New Life
KUBL 93.3 FM's Shotgun and Carly have launched a effort to help a homeless man get a fresh start.
The Cumulus morning duo are helping a 56-year-old homeless man, identified as Steven, as part of their "1 shirt, 365 Days" campaign.
The idea behind Shotgun and Carly’s 1 Shirt 365 Days is to bring awareness to the homeless epidemic in Utah. Shotgun and Carly have committed themselves to wear the same shirt for an entire year with one stipulation, that at least one K-BULL 93 listener will do one act of kindness for a homeless individual every single day. The random act of kindness can be something as simple as a cup of coffee, a meal, talking to someone on the street corner, donating old clothes to someone in need. No act is too big or too small.
Steven reportedly now has a a job.
