NYC Radio: Caroline Bermudez Rejoins CCM+E

Carolina Bermudez
CCM+E/New York has announced that longtime local entertainment personality, Carolina Bermudez, will return to radio.  She will join Cubby Bryant co-hosting WKTU 103.5 FM mornings from 6-10:00 a.m., beginning Wednesday, September 10.

Bermudez encompasses all things pop-culture and entertainment. She began her radio career in 2003 as a co-host on the Kenny and Footy Morning Show on Y100 in Miami. Two years later, she was recruited to Elvis Duran and the Morning Show on Z100 in New York. Just one year after her arrival in New York, the popular morning show began syndication and now can be heard on nearly 80 radio stations throughout the country. After her arrival at Z100, Bermudez simultaneously held the position of Senior Editor at In Touch Weekly magazine and appeared frequently on programs like CNN Headline News Showbiz Tonight, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight and more.  In 2011 Bermudez left the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show after 7 years and began hosting the morning show Live from the Couch on WLNY TV in New York City.

"This is the ultimate homecoming we are excited to have Carolina back at Clear Channel New York," said Joe Puglise, Market President, CCM+ Entertainment New York.  "She is an amazing talent who always connects with our listeners and a familiar voice that resonates with our advertising partners."

"Carolina is an outstanding talent who has a unique point of view, incredible energy and a successful history of waking up the Tri-state in the mornings," said Thea Mitchem, SVP/Programming, CCM+Entertainment.  "The team of Cubby and Carolina will be unstoppable."

"It's hard to believe that just 11 years ago, I was an intern at Clear Channel in South Florida.  It was a privilege and honor to be a part of Elvis Duran and the Morning Show for so many years and then do a few years on television," said Bermudez.  "I am thrilled to now work alongside one of the best guys in the industry, Cubby, on 103.5 KTU.  Big thanks to Joe Puglise, Thea Mitchem and Rob Miller for this incredible opportunity and for welcoming me back to the Clear Channel family."
