San Antonio Radio: Country Leads the Pack

The top spot in the June Arbitron PPMs rating for San Antonio belongs to CCM+E’s County KAJA-FM KJ9. Moving 8.5 – 8.2 – 8.5 share 6+ during the last three months.

Country radio holds the No. 2 slot as well. KCYY-FM Y100 scored a 6.9 share in June — up from a 6.5 in May and 6.4 in April.

San Antonio was once considered the heavy metal capital of the U.S. But the highest-rated rock station for June was KISS-FM, which ranked No. 10 with a 4.4 share, and 3.6 in April and 4.5 share in May.
