During the week of February 24 - March 2, FOX News Channel (FNC) averaged 3.6 million viewers in weekday primetime leading NBC’s 3.5 million and ABC’s 2.2 million viewers.
Notably, FNC has now seen the top 732 cable news telecasts since Election Day. In Monday - Sunday primetime (8-11 PM/ET), FNC soared to 3.1 million viewers and 393,000 in the 25-54 demo, commanding all of cable with viewers. In total day (6AM-6AM/ET), FNC posted 2 million viewers and 254,000 in the 25-54 demo. FOX News’ daytime program Outnumbered beat ABC’s The View with viewers for the week. The Five was the most-watched show in cable news with 4.6 million viewers and has now commanded over 4 million viewers for the 15th consecutive week.

Special Report with Bret Baier’s exclusive interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday, February 28th beat NBC’s Nightly News and CBS’ Evening News as it dominated television, peaking with 6.4 million viewers and 855,000 in the 25-54 demo from 6-6:15 PM/ET.
The interview, which was President Zelenskyy’s first reaction to his Oval Office meeting with President Trump, drew 6.2 million viewers and 775,000 in the 25-54 demo from 6-6:30 PM/ET, leading all cable and a number of broadcast programs with viewers, including NBC’s Nightly News from 6:30-7 PM/ET (5.76 million viewers) and CBS’ CBS Evening News (3.9 million viewers) as well CBS’s NCIS Sydney (4.4 million viewers), CBS’ Fire Country (4.3 million viewers), CBS’ S.W.A.T. (3.7 million viewers), ABC’s Countdown to Oscars (2.2 million viewers), NBC’s Dateline (2.2 million viewers) and ABC’s 20/20 (2.2 million viewers) in primetime, among others.
For the week, The Five averaged 4.6 million viewers and 512,000 in the 25-54 demo, leading cable news across the board. At 6 PM/ET, Special Report with Bret Baier drew 3.8 million viewers and 411,000 in the 25-54 demo. The Ingraham Angle saw 3.5 million viewers and 398,000 in the 25-54 demo at 7 PM/ET. At 8 PM/ET, Jesse Watters Primetime delivered 4.2 million viewers and 516,000 in the 25-54 demo, which led cable news with younger viewers. At 9 PM/ET, Hannity posted 3.3 million viewers and 445,000 with A25-54. At 11 PM/ET, FOX News @ Night secured 1.8 million viewers and 306,000 in the 25-54 demo.
FNC’s newest program The Will Cain Show continued to drive up the ratings at 4 PM/ET commanding 2.6 million viewers and 330,000 in the 25-54 demo, a 46% increase with viewers compared to the same week last year.
At 10 PM/ET, FNC’s late-night offering Gutfeld! secured 3.3 million viewers and 489,000 with A25-54. Gutfeld! once again topped the broadcast competition including CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (1,792,000 viewers; 296,000 A25-54), ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (1,396,000 viewers; 218,000 A25-54) and NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1,081,000 viewers; 259,000 A25-54).
FNC continued to see a number of its daytime programs outpace the broadcast competition. Most notably, Outnumbered (weekdays, 12 PM/ET; 2,592,000 viewers) led ABC’s The View (2,515,000 viewers). The Story with Martha MacCallum (weekdays, 3 PM/ET; 2,440,000 viewers), America Reports (weekdays, 1-3 PM/ET; 2,438,000 viewers), Harris Faulkner’s The Faulkner Focus (weekdays, 11 AM/ET; 2,272,000 viewers) and America’s Newsroom (weekdays, 9-11 AM/ET; 2,191,000 viewers) all led CBS Mornings (2,025,000 viewers), NBC’s Today Third Hour (1,814,000 viewers), ABC’s GMA3 (1,318,000 viewers), NBC’s Today with Jenna & Friends (1,191,00 viewers) and NBC News Daily (1,187,000 viewers) with viewers.
On Saturday: Life, Liberty & Levin (weekends, 8 PM/ET) was the most-watched show of the day with 2 million viewers and 166,000 in the 25-54 demo. My View with Lara Trump (Saturday, 9 PM/ET) continued to deliver strong ratings in its second week with 1.9 million viewers and 172,000 in the 25-54 demo. FOX News Saturday Night with Jimmy Failla commanded 1.5 million viewers and 188,000 in the 25-54 demo at 10 PM/ET.
On Sunday: Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday Morning Futures was the top show of the day with 2 million viewers and 254,000 in the 25-54 demo. MediaBuzz (Sunday, 11 AM/ET) led in the 25-54 demo with 264,000 viewers. Life, Liberty & Levin was most-watched in primetime at 8 PM/ET with 1.9 million viewers.

“World News Tonight with David Muir” ranked as the No. 1 evening newscast in all of broadcast and cable in Total Viewers (7.917 million), Adults 25-54 (1.074 million) and Adults 18-49 (754,000) during the week of Feb. 24, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.
- “World News Tonight” outdelivered “NBC Nightly News” (6.371 million, 940,000 and 633,000, respectively) by 1.546 million Total Viewers, by 134,000 Adults 25-54 and by 121,000 Adults 18-49.
- “World News Tonight” widened its Adults 25-54 advantage over “NBC Nightly News” versus the previous week by 4% (134,000 vs. 129,000).
- “World News Tonight” increased its Total Viewer margin over “NBC Nightly News” year to year (+23% – 1.546 million vs. 1.261 million).
- For the fifth consecutive week, “World News Tonight” was up on the year-ago week in Total Viewers (+1%/+87,000 – 7.917 million vs. 7.830 million). “World News Tonight” stood as the only evening newscast to grow its Total Viewer audience year to year.
- “World News Tonight” stood as the No. 2 program of the week in Total Viewers (7.917 million) on all of broadcast and cable.
- For the week, “World News Tonight” (7.917 million, 1.074 million and 754,000, respectively) beat “CBS Evening News” (4.279 million, 643,000 and 424,000, respectively) by 3.638 million Total Viewers, by 431,000 Adults 25-54 and by 330,000 Adults 18-49.
