R.I.P.: Longtime KKAJ Morning Host Win Patton

Country KKAJ 95.7 FM in Davis, OK announced Monday afternoon the news of the sudden death of Win Patton, the station's program director and morning show host.

He was 48-years-of-age.

Patton entertained Southern Oklahoma listeners for decades, and most recently was a morning show host on KKAJ.

KKAJ news director Kevin Kerr says Patton had been diagnosed with colon cancer in February and underwent a surgery last week that everyone thought had gone well.

Kerr says Patton was at home, with his daughter, recovering when he died.

He says Patton always remained true to his motto, "Keep on keeping on."
