Jax Radio: Cox Media Names Bob DeBlois New DS

Cox Media Group (CMG) Jacksonville Radio has named Bob DeBlois as its new Director of Sales.

In this role, DeBlois will oversee all sales activities for CMG Jacksonville’s six-station radio cluster and the Cox Online Digital Ad Network (CODAN) operations, offering North Florida unprecedented opportunities in media and advertising.

“We are excited for Bob to step into this leadership position, a role that he has naturally grown into over the past couple of years,” said CMG Jacksonville Radio VP and General Manager Bill Hendrich.

“Bob’s ability to identify talent, to help people perform at their best, and his proven performance in new business and digital revenue development will be magnified in this new role.  Having him in a position to work directly with all of our talented Sales Managers, Account Managers and our Sales Support team will drive our growth in 2015 and for years to come.”

Previously, DeBlois served as CMG Jacksonville’s General Sales Manager for News 104.5 WOKV AM/FM.  Before joining CMG Jacksonville in 2009, he was GM and Station Manager for WPEN AM (ESPN 950) for Greater Media in Philadelphia.
