Lake Charles LA Radio: Gerry McCracken Named PD For KYKZ, KQLK

Cumulus announces that Gerry McCracken has been named Operations Manager for Cumulus/Lake Charles.

McCracken will also serve as Program Director for Country KYKZ 96.1 FM and NASH Icon KQLK 97.9 FM in Lake Charles. He replaces Operations Manager/Program Director Eric Nielson, who retired at the end of 2014.

McCracken comes to Cumulus after nearly 20 years as a Program Director and Format Captain for Cox Radio, programming WSOC/Charlotte, KWEN/Tulsa, and WHKO/Dayton, among others. Past stops also include WCOS/Columbia SC and KBBG/San Francisco.
