WTOP 103.5 FM as it rebounds 6.1—9.2 (6+ AQH) in the January PPMs
released Wednesday by Nielsen. The 9.2 is WTOP's highest share since
last January.
The other N/T in town also did well.
American University's non-com WAMU 88.5 FM spiked 6.4—7.9, good for
#2. Howard University's UrbanAC WHUR recovered from the Holiday
blahs moving 5.5—6.0 to end up at #3. iHeartMedia's AC/Holiday Hits
WASH 97.1 FM returned to earth, plunging 13.6—5.6 (a full share
better than last Jan) dropping from #1 to #4. Clustermate Top 40 WIHT
99.5 FM /HOT had an uptick 5.1—5.2 to remain at #5 in the market.
