The rapper Flo Rida stopped by the iHeartMedia's-owned WFKS 95.1 FM /Kiss95-1 in Melbourne on Tuesday night "to promote his new song 'GDFR' ('Goin' Down for Real') and give the listeners a chance to meet, hang out and take pictures with him," program director Kevin Campbell told Florida Today.
"GDFR" features Sage the Gemini and Lookas. It is the NBA All-Star Anthem. Gorilla Zoe accompanied Flo Rida to the radio station. Gorilla Zoe is signed with Flo Rida's label IMG (International Music Group).
About 20 to 30 super fans got a chance to partake in the "meat-n-greet," which included food by Sonny's BBQ in Viera.
Best known for his hits like "Whistle," "I Cry" and "Wild Ones," Flo Rida became a breakout star with "Low" in 2008.
