Sudduth’s broadcasting career included many years at WWL Radio, where he was a morning news anchor.
After leaving broadcasting to pursue other business interests in the 1980s, he returned to the air waves as a news anchor on Ed Muniz’s two locally-owned stations, WLTS Lite 105 and Kool 95.7. Among his on-air roles, he was newsman for the station's morning shows.
He also worked as a radio news director in Gulfport, Mississippi.
A native of Greenwood, Mississippi, Sudduth’s first job in broadcasting came while he was still in high school, when he took a job at a local radio station at age 15.
