Newsweek, which stopped print publication last year amid reduced circulation and sales and struggling finances, is planning to return to having a print edition, according to the New York Times.
Newsweek editor-in-chief, Jim Impoco, said the news magazine expects to begin a 64-page weekly edition in January or February.
However, he said Newsweek would depend more heavily on subscribers than advertisers, meaning readers will pay more than in the past.
Impoco said, “We see it as a premium product, a boutique product.”
